These communities continue to face urgent needs as they adjust to temporary relocation. A donation tent has been set up behind the Days Inn (6519 Stanley Ave) in Niagara Falls, ON.
On Sunday, June 8, we delivered a carload of donations to add to the incredible support organized by Six Nations. It was a powerful day of community care. Families received suitcases, new clothing, food, personal hygiene products, board games, puzzles and the children were thrilled to receive new toys.

We have received the all clear into the evacuation Zone. (this can change at a moment's notice with the forest fires near the highways)
Tomorrow, we’re heading north into wildfire evacuated zones in trusted partnership with @manitobaunderdogsrescue to deliver urgently needed pet food and supplies to animals affected by the wildfires. This collective coordination came together quickly.
MAA has asked our trusted partner Manitoba Underdogs to be the team lead as we prepare for the Emergency intake clinic on Sunday morning. thanks to lead the charge on the ground.
We’ll also be bringing vulnerable pets back to Winnipeg. Some are beloved family animals needing a safe place to stay.
Others are in peril and are unable to survive without our help.
We’re asking for donations to help cover the cost of fuel, supplies, and the care these animals will need once they’re with us. If you’re able to give, you’ll be directly supporting the animals and the teams like MUR and MAA working around the clock and physically in the fire zones to protect them.
