We are a group of educators and students in Toronto, ON who committed to making a real and immediate difference for evacuees from Cross Lake / Pimicikamak Cree Nation.

Many of our friends and colleagues from the community have been displaced by the devastating wildfires and are now temporarily relocated to Winnipeg and Niagara Falls. Our fundraising efforts here in Toronto are directly connected to those on the ground, ensuring that every dollar raised goes toward urgent, real-life needs.

Funds are being used to purchase essentials like foldable wagons to help families transport young children, baby carriers, clothing, and other necessities that arise during this challenging time.

Together, we can show up for Cross Lake in meaningful, tangible ways.
